Wamen Negarotê: Indigenous leadership, intercultural education, and the defense of life in the Guaporé Valley
Wamen Negarotê is an Indigenous leader of the Negarotê people in the Guaporé Valley (MT), whose work combines intercultural education, community empowerment, and territorial defense. As president of the Negarotê Indigenous Women’s Association, she participated in OGA’s Women Leaders’ Circle, highlighting the role of Indigenous women in the regeneration of life and the production of ancestral knowledge.
