Welcome to The OGA Circle ⭕ — our FREE, global, virtual circle for collective reflection, radical learning, and community care.
This is more than a club. It’s a growing network of thinkers, readers, and doers who believe that knowledge should be liberated — not privatized — and that learning should build solidarity, not hierarchy.
We gather around accessible, no-copyright texts authored exclusively by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) scholars and visionaries, with a special focus on voices from the Global South. EVERYONE is welcome!
Our goal is simple yet transformative: to decolonize knowledge by centering the wisdom, struggle, and creativity of those whose perspectives have long been silenced — and to do so in a truly open, inclusive, and supportive space.
Why The OGA Circle ⭕ Matters
We all carry colonized mindsets — ways of thinking and seeing the world shaped by centuries of domination, erasure, and imposed narratives. These internalized systems often limit how we understand ourselves, our histories, and our collective possibilities.
Through critical reading, dialogue, and reflection, The OGA Circle ⭕ invites us to unlearn what colonization has taught us about worth, knowledge, and power. When liberated from colonial frameworks, education becomes a tool of transformation — a way to reclaim our voices, reimagine our futures, and build power together.
What Makes The OGA Circle ⭕ Different
- Free & Accessible for All — Every text we read is 100% free, copyright-free (Public Domain), and legally accessible to everyone.
- Monthly 1-Hour Virtual Meetings — Designed for deep, focused, and meaningful discussion that fits your schedule. No camera-on mandates!
- Community-Centered Learning — We build a space grounded in mutual respect, deep listening, and collective inquiry.
- Praxis-Focused — We don’t stop at theory. Each session bridges thought and action, turning reflection into real-world change and solidarity.

The Future of The OGA Circle ⭕
This is just the beginning.
Future circles will expand into new languages, regions, and thematic focuses — from African liberation thought and Indigenous philosophy to Asian and Pacific Islander decolonial traditions.
Our vision is to cultivate interconnected circles across the globe, each one rooted in local realities yet united by a shared commitment to unlearning, reflection, and transformative action.
The OGA Circle ⭕ Guidelines
- Center BIPOC Voices: Honor the lived experiences, ideas, and agency of the authors we read and the communities they represent.
- Practice Respectful Dialogue: Engage critically but compassionately — challenge ideas, not people.
- Speak From the “I”: Share from your own position, perspective, and lived experience.
- Unlearn & Reclaim: Recognize our shared work in dismantling colonized patterns of thought.
- Keep Praxis at the Core: Reading is only the beginning. Together, we turn insight into movement, and dialogue into change.
Join us to decolonize the mind, liberate knowledge, and build a freer, more connected world — one conversation, one text, one act of solidarity at a time.
NOTE: Whilst we focus on silenced and marginalized voices, we do welcome allies from all walks of life and geographies. Let’s unlearn together! 🖤
